Saturday, November 14th
4pm - 6:30pm
Join us for this fun, exciting workshop where you will learn how to use alcohol based inks to create vibrant, abstract paintings.
Artist Vicki Van Vynckt will show you many different techniques you can use and you can try the ones you prefer. This is a beginner level class but if you have some previous experience with this medium you are welcome to attend.
We will create our paintings on synthetic paper and we will also paint on glass tea light holders (with LED light included). You do not have to have any prior art experience to participate in this workshop.
Wear old clothing or an apron and bring a roll (or 1/2 roll) of paper towels. All the other supplies are included in the fee.
The bar will be open for refreshments.
Vicki Van Vynckt has a degree in Fine Art from the University of Southern Indiana and paints in oils, alcohol inks, and printmaking. She has 20 years of experience teaching art.
